Treatment for Children’s Feet:
Pediatric podiatry focuses on caring for children’s feet and ankles. Specialists like our doctors are trained to diagnose and treat conditions related to normal and abnormal development. Feet make up about 25 percent of a person’s bones, and their care can be complex even at a young age. Foot care for children requires a different approach than for adults, pain or other conditions of the feet and ankle must be evaluated carefully because they can affect a child’s walking and development and even further on in life.
